Encrypted backup
Your memos and YouTube links are saved on this device automatically and are here every time you open VoxDeck. A backup is an extra copy for safekeeping or for moving to another device.
The backup holds your memos (title and text) and your YouTube links. Music and video files are never put in the backup; they stay on this device only. To copy those to another device, use Wi-Fi transfer below. It is one file named VoxDeck_Backup.json, encrypted with your passphrase (AES-256). Each new backup replaces the last. There is no way to recover a forgotten passphrase.
Wi-Fi transfer
Copy your memos, YouTube links, music and videos straight to another device that has VoxDeck open. Put both devices on the same Wi-Fi. Pairing uses your own pairing service on Cloudflare (the same one as MediaDeck Pro) and needs the internet for a moment; after that the data travels directly between the two devices and is never uploaded.
On the other device, open VoxDeck, go to Backup, type this code under Wi-Fi transfer and tap Connect.
Settings
Without a key, Search opens YouTube in a new tab and you paste the link back. A key is free from Google Cloud Console (YouTube Data API v3).
